Where the Crawdads Sing is a murder mystery movie. I think it is very well done. It tells the story about a girl named Kya slowly becoming on her own. She fights to survive and keep the only house that she’s ever known and along the way everybody shuns her making her feel like an outcast. Then when the murder happens, they want to blame her for it. Of course the story begins in the marshes of North Carolina. They peg her with the name Marsh girl because she grew up there in the marshes all alone. If you like what you’re reading you’ll enjoy the movie. I thought it was very well done. I’d give it three stars. It’s 2 hours and 5 minutes long. Really good acting in this movie as well.
