Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) Review

I don’t know what it is with some of the critics out there. I don’t know if they’re seeing a different movie than I am but I thought Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was phenomenal. One of the better ones in the franchise. I thought it was a total great send off to Princess Leia being that Carrie Fisher is no longer is with us in real life. I think that the performances by Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver and Billy Dee Williams were phenomenal and I highly recommend anyone to see it. Obviously you should know the story of Star Wars even if you’re not a fan of it. It’s about a resistance people that do not like the dark side and their fighting against it. The two sides are at odds with each other and the overall premise of the movie series which spans 40 some years. It’s just a great great franchise of a movie. The acting in it, the dialogue of it, the visual effects and the overall movie; you definitely get your money’s worth. I thought it was a great ending. Very fitting for a queen. I give the movie three and a half to four stars depending on your look of it. Running time is 2 hours and 22 minutes. Again I highly recommend you see the movie. Don’t listen to the critics, I say otherwise. They don’t know what they’re talking about. Believe me that’s why I call my site “Movie Reviews You Can Trust”!
