The Father stars Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman. This is a movie about a man more advanced than his years with dementia and his daughter is trying to take care of him. She can no longer be with him on a daily basis so she has to get a caregiver. Her father doesn’t want any of them and she’s forced to put him in a home. The movie did not do a whole lot for me just kind of didn’t go anywhere, it needed a little more substance. The acting was phenomenal, the job Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman did was definitely three and a half stars for acting, but the movie itself I give it one star. Running time is 1 hour 37 minutes.
