Alice is a movie that is a great history lesson and I would imagine that a good majority a people did not know that this ever existed. It’s a true story that involves people that were being kept as slaves way past the Civil War right into modern times. Yes as recent as 1973 which is the time that this movie is taking place. In the beginning it does not look like that is what it is, but boy does this movie take a twist. I highly recommend you watch this movie to see how bad it was. In some parts of the South, people could not let go of slavery. I know that people in the South we’re paying slave wages pass the Civil War right up to the early 20th century but I never expected this. I give it three stars. The movie is an hour and 40 minutes long. It has some violence and of course some bad language. I highly recommend you watch the movie.
