I want to say A Hidden Life was a really good movie, just way too long. The movie is based on a true story. It’s about Franz Jägerstätter who lives in Austria as the Nazis and Hitler are coming into power. They start forcing people to join the Army and follow them but Franz doesn’t believe in Hitler’s ways and does not want to join the Army so he stands his ground and gets thrown into jail. It’s a very good story and a really good movie, just way too long. This movie could have been an hour shorter and would have been a much better movie it drags too much, goes over the points that it makes several times and takes way too long to get to the next part of the movie. I still say see the movie, just be aware that it does take a long time to get to the end. The shots that you see of the scenery and the acting are well worth seeing the movie. The movie is 2 hours and 54 minutes. I would give it three stars.
