Becoming Cousteau is a movie about Jacques Cousteau. It takes you back to the ’50s and ’60s when he made a big name for himself doing underwater explorations for the film industry and of course had a series on TV for quite a while. He was an inventor, author, filmmaker and explorer. A very good film. You see a lot of his stuff that he did back in the 20th century. The underwater explorations they takes you on are definitely breathtaking as well as the story that he tells and how those depths of the Earth are deteriorating because of the way humans live and are destroying the oceans. At the end of his career he becomes an advocate for treating the oceans better and all water a much better way. Everyone should see this movie so they could understand what it is like to have clean water and how industries are destroying our waters. Really good film. I give it three and a half Stars. It was 96 minutes long.
