Dune (2021) Review

Dune is a movie about a young man who is brilliant and gifted born. He is born into a family with a great dynasty beyond his understanding. He travels to a dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. From there the movie and his story is told. Great acting from everyone such as Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgard, Josh Brolin, Oscar Isaac and Timothee Chalamet and a whole slew of other actors as well. I thought this was a very well done movie. I love the storyline, the concept of the movie and the telling of how the story is told. Other film critics did not like this movie. I totally disagree with them. I’m glad there will be another part in this movie. They say they didn’t like the ending at this point but I don’t get it. It’s telling the story and this is the end of part 1. You’re pretty much led to believe what it is going to be about. The acting was great and I thought the directing was great as well as the storyline was awesome. I would give this a three and a half stars. The movie is 2 hours and 35 minutes long. I would definitely go see the movie If I were you.
