Firestarter stars Zac Efron, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Sydney Lemmon and Gloria Reuben. This is a redo from Stephen King’s classic thriller about a girl with pyrokinetic powers. She is able to use her mind to start fires amongst other things. The family which has powers of their own are trying to keep sinister forces from taking over their lives and trying to capture and control them. I thought the movie was okay. I did like the job Zac Efron did playing the father. I thought that Ryan Kiera Armstrong did a really good job playing the girl with the fire powers. If you like these type of movies, I give it two stars. It’s 94 minutes long.
