This is an independent movie. A documentary. It was very well done. A very unique history of Leonard Cohen and it tells his life as he went through from being a poet to a musician/singer/song writer and the ups and downs that his life had. This is one that I would highly recommend if you are into these types of movies because the documentary was very well done. A lot of his music was on the depressing side, he definitely wrote from the downs in his life but he did have some high moments and the movie shows you the ins and outs of his life and things that he went through. I would give the movie definitely 3 or 3 ½ stars so again if you’re one that likes these types of movies, the documentary was very well done. It is about 95% of footage of him and his wife with still shots and video footage that they shot throughout his life.
