Tár stars Cate Blanchett as the iconic music director Lydia Tar who was very self absorbed and thought she was better than all those around her, really pushing people around. Cate Blanchett did a phenomenal job of playing the character. I have to say it’s a moving movie but it really dragged. It would have been a lot better had it been shorter. I gave it 2 stars. It’s 2 hours and 38 minutes long.
