The Banshees of Inisherin is set on a remote island off the West Coast of Ireland. The Story tells of the lifelong friendship of Collin Ferrell and Brandon Gleason as they go through their lives and unexpectedly Brandon Gleason’s character wants to put an end to their friendship. Colin Farrell’s character is stunned by this and just can’t seem to let it go. It troubles him so bad that Gleason’s character threatens to do harm to himself if he won’t let go. This is a very moving movie with great performances by both Colin Farrell and Brandon Gleason. The movie can be a little draggie at times but it is worth the watch for the performances alone. I give it 2 and a 1/2 to 3 stars. It’s an hour and 54 minutes long.
