The Inspection (2023) Review

The Inspection is a movie of Elegance Bratton’s inspirational and deep telling of his own story as a young gay black man who was rejected by his mother and felt he didn’t have many options for his future. He decides to join the Marines and do what it takes to succeed in the system which would cast him aside. But even as he battles deep through prejudice and the grueling routines of basic training, he finds unexpected camaraderie and strength. In this new community he found a hard earned sense of his own identity. I have to say the movie can be hard to see what this man went through but the story it tells is really moving. I give it 3 stars it’s 95 minutes long.
