The Northman stars Alexander Skarsgard, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Anna Taylor Joy and Ethan Hawke. A lot of really good actors in this movie. The movie overall was pretty good. It is a little long but the story it tells was worth watching. Basically we’re going back to like the 8th century with a family whose father gets killed, the mother gets captured and the son is on the run trying to avoid from being killed. There is a little bit of witchery implied here and the actions can be a little bit gory at times but definitely worth watching. I give it two and a half to three stars. It’s 2 hours and 20 minutes long.
