True to the Game 2: Gena’s Story is really good. It’s about drug deals gone wrong. You don’t have to see the first one, though it would help, but you know as you watch the movie what it’s about. I wasn’t privy to see part 1 but I got to know what this was about after about 20 minutes into the film. The acting could have been done a little better had the director pushed the actors to give a little more in their performances. I don’t think it’s the fault of the actors. I think the movie was rushed in it’s making of it. It would have taken a little more time but the push in the performances in the movie would have been much better. It is still worth watching if you like these type of movies. I give it two and a half stars. Running time is 1 hour and 33 minutes.
