Umma is about a Korean woman who is living on an American Farm with her daughter. It stars Sandra Oh as Amanda. Amanda comes to America to get away from the fears of turning into her mother and along the way she is haunted by what she went through in her childhood because of her possessive mother. The movie is eerie. I would not say it’s scary. Really good acting. I was not totally impressed with the movie. It was okay. If you do like these type of movies I would say go see it. I don’t know if I’d say to pay for seeing it at the theater, maybe see it when it gets to your TV. I give it two stars. It’s 84 minutes long. There is some strong language but that’s about it.
