First movie is 1917. I want to say phenomenal film the movie based on true story from the director Sam Mendes grandfather’s accounts of World War 1. You get actual events that happened in the war as told from his grandfather’s point of view. Extremely well-done movie. Phenomenal footage. I love the way he shot the film. Even if you’re not a war movie person you really need to see this movie from the way it was portrayed and shot. Dean-Charles Chapman, George MacKay, Benedict Cumberbatch and Colin Firth and all the actors just did a great job as well as Sam Mendes directing. Phenomenal job. I give the the movie four stars. A must-see. It is an hour and 59 minutes long.
