In Little Women Greta Gerwig hit another home run with this movie about four artistic sisters growing up in the mid-1800s while their father is off fighting in the Civil War and their mother raises them. They grow up next to a very wealthy family where the father has two sons and takes a liking to the girls. I have to say this is a very well done movie. A well written and directed film with phenomenal acting by the whole cast Saoirse Ronan, as well as Emma Watson, Eliza Scanlen and Florence Pugh, Laura Dern, Chris Cooper Tracy Letts, Timothy Chalmette and of course Meryl Streep makes the movie as Aunt March. This a must see movie. Yes you know what you are getting when you go in but it is definitely worth the price of admission. The movie was really well done. A must see. I give this movie 3+ Stars. It has a running time of 2 hours and 14 minutes.
