Birds of Prey stars Margot Robbie, Rosie Perez, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ella Jay Basco and Jurnee Smollett-Bell. The acting was good, especially Margot Robbie who always does a phenomenal job. For those of you that never saw Suicide Squad, this is the movie taken out of the Batman series about Gotham City and the Joker. Harley Quinn, played by Margot Robbie was the Joker’s girlfriend. Now the story Suicide Squad was a phenomenal movie. This one here was a really good movie. It just missed the point overall. I just didn’t like the way it meandered along and it was more storytelling than action. Now you do get your fair share of action but it’s just bits and pieces here and there. I just wish they would have put this much more together in lines of Suicide Squad where you had much more action in it. Still a good movie. I give it two and a half stars to three stars for the girl power. Running time is 1 hour and 49 minutes long.
