Boogie stars Taylor Takahashi as Alfred “Boogie” Chin, a gifted basketball player of Oriental descent trying to make a life for himself as he navigates high school. This movie is a very cultural related movie. I really enjoyed the story. The movie does move a little slow but the message that it has does take time to build. His chemistry with his girlfriend Eleanor, played by Taylour Paige, was really good and definitely helps the movie. The acting was really good by all the family parts and the times that Boogie and his girlfriend are together. If you like these types of movies, I definitely would say go see it. Again I thought the acting was really good. I like the cultural story and family of what it was about. I give it two and a half stars. Running time is 1 hour and 29 minutes
