Charming the Hearts of Men is based on a true story in the Civil Rights era of the ’60s when they were voting for black people to have voting rights. They also voted in the rights for women to vote. Along comes Anna Friel’s character while trying to get a man in her life to help pay her bills. This man happens to be Kelsey Grammer and along the way comes the rights of women to vote. I have to say it was an enjoyable movie. I would give it two and a half stars. It’s an hour and 47 minutes long.
