Downton Abbey: A New Era is obviously taken from the TV show. It is now a sequel to the first movie. This one is about the grand journey to the south of France and the mystery of the Dowager Countess’ newly inherited villa. It was a very well done movie. I was very impressed with what the story tells as well as the acting. If you like the TV series, you’ll like this movie. I give it three stars. It is 2 hours and 5 minutes long.
