Licorice Pizza is a coming-of-age story about your first love. There is a lot of back and forth between two young lovers starring Cooper Hoffman as Gary Valentine and Alana Haim as Alana Kane. The story is based in the San Fernando Valley California in 1973. The movie is written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. This is a well done movie. Great performances by all the actors especially Cooper Hoffman and Alana Haim. This is her first movie and she does a really good job. So does Sean Penn, Tom Waits and Bradley Cooper. I can’t say enough about this movie. A must see. I give it three to three and a half stars. It’s 2 hours and 13 minutes long.
