This is a really good film. I give it a strong 3 or 3 1/2 star rating. The acting was phenomenal by Tim Roth, Naomi Watts, Octavia Spencer and newcomer Kelvin Harrison Jr. The performances were really, really good. A really good movie to go see. It is a suspense thriller. It’s an independent film shown here locally at the Landmark’s Main Art Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan. If you’re one to like these types of movies you’ll really love the movie. It’s about affluent white parents, (Naomi Watts & Tim Roth) that adopt a poor black child from war torn Eritrea in hopes to give him a better home and upbringing. And the story develops from there as he is going through the ups and downs of school and the adventures that he runs into and all it entails. Again I highly recommend you to go see it if you are one that likes these types of movies.
