Malcolm and Marie stars John David Washington, Denzel Washington’s son. He does a phenomenal job acting as well as Marie’s character which is Zendaya. I thought the movie overall was really good. It does concentrate around them in the house and I wish it would have included more of the backstory of the movie that John Washington’s character wrote. I thought would have helped the film but be ready for these two that either loving each other or hating each other through the whole movie. A lot of arguing so you’re going to see a lot of dialogue and drama but the acting is really, really good between the two of them. The chemistry worked really well. With that in mind the movie was phenomenal as far as it being a little draggy cuz there’s too much arguing going on versus like I said a little more storyline backstory on John Washington’s character would have been a much much better movie. I still give it three stars and say go see the movie. Running time is 1 hour and 46 minutes.
