This is a faith-based movie. It is a good movie and I highly recommend you to go see it. The movie is about a basketball coach that loses players due to the factory closing down in their town. He is asked to take up coaching cross country programs. I would give it three stars. It really has a great backstory to the movie when you start seeing the basis of it. You’re looking at someone that has to overcome a lot of obstacles to achieve their goal and what they’re trying to do. If you’re one that likes the underdog type movie this one’s definitely for you. You’re going to get your spots in it where you have your Christianity front and center but I did like the fact that it wasn’t pushed a lot. The directing was really good, the actors did a pretty good job but the story in this movie was without a doubt the best part. I know a lot of people are going to say “the movie is a Christian movie, I don’t know if I want to see it” but I highly recommend you take the time because they don’t push it a lot. That was the best part of the movie; that the story being told and the Christianity within it. It’s what helped make the movie a good one. If you’re one that shies away from Christian movies I highly recommend you see this because it’s one that doesn’t push it through the whole movie. Hope you enjoy it!
