The Courier is based on a true story. This is a phenomenal movie. Brandon Cumberbatch does a phenomenal job as a family man who gets recruited by the CIA to go to Russia during the Cold War in the 60s to give information to a higher up double agent in the Russian government who’s trying to keep both sides (the Russians and the US) from going to war. His character gets enlisted to try and send messages back and forth so as to avoid a war. I thought it was a very well done movie and the acting by Rachel Brosnahan, Merab Ninidze and Jessie Buckley was well done. I highly recommend it. I give it three stars. Running time is 1 hour and 51 minutes.
