The Warrior of the Queen of Jhansi is an Indian film. It’s a true story and this movie does have subtitles. It’s based around a woman who wants to fight for her country for their independence from the British based in the mid 1800s. I have to say a really good story and well done acting on it. Rani Lakshmi Bai is Joan of Arc type character and just phenomenal for what she did for her people and trying to stop the British control. To this day she is highly revered in India for what she had done. I guess it would kind of be in the stature of like I said Joan of Arc or in the case of our country maybe someone on the lines of a Harriet Tubman. The people of India still talk of what good she had done for them. I would give the movie a strong 3 stars. If you like what you’re reading you’ll love the story and the movie.
