Judas and the Black Messiah (2021) Review

Judas and the Black Messiah is a really good movie. A must see. This is the true story of a young man, Fred Hampton played by Daniel Kaluuya, who does a phenomenal job in acting. Fred Hampton is the head of the Black Panthers Chicago chapter and as he is trying to lead his followers in Chicago into becoming a bigger group and put the message across to all who will listen. He’s doing it in a peaceful way and at this time there is a lot of other black gangs that he is trying to get them all to come together as one. The higher up folks in the city as well as the FBI are really worried of what might become should this happen so they get William O’Neil played by LaKeith Stanfield in to the gang as to keep them informed and hopefully curtail this gang from doing any harm. As you watch the film and you get to understand the story you can see who Fred Hampton was it’s sad that the FBI was worried for no reason because much good could have came out of his cause. Like I said, a really good film. Really good story. I highly recommend seeing the movie. I give it three and a half stars and say that the performances we’re phenomenal. The movie is 2 hours and 6 minutes.
