Land is directed by and stars Robin Wright. It’s a story of a woman going through some very trying times in her life as she has lost her husband and their child. She is dealing with this very big strain on her so she decides to give up all modern necessities and live off the land. This is a very powerful storyline. Very high drama. It does help that she runs into a mountain man Demian Bichir who comes at the right time to help her. Because of her wanting to be left alone he see this and agrees to show her how to live off the land. Like I said it’s a powerful movie and has a very good story to tell. I just believed it could have been done a little better. I give it two stars. It’s an hour and 29 minutes long.
