Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark was a good movie. I loved the concept of the movie and the writing of it and what they were trying to do and tell with the movie. It wasn’t so much scary as it was eerie. But the overall movie I would give it a good strong 2 ½-3 stars especially for the fact of what it tells and the way it goes through the movie and the book that the girl finds. The acting on it was pretty good. A really good soundtrack to the movie so you’ll like the music throughout. I definitely recommend you to see it but don’t expect to be scared, scared but more of like an eerie thing but a good story to tell. So if you’re into these types of movies, I definitely recommend to go see it. It’s a PG13, but it was a good enjoyable movie.
